Have you ever noticed that candidates for office seem to cause chaos and controversy in order to get news? We are almost fully involved in the "he said, she said" debate. These "tit for tat" games are a pathetic waste of time in the news. The mass media hysteria wishes to promote this chaos and controversy and they sell millions of dollars in ads each week. Still with the election for the new President nearly a year away, do we really deserve this?
It is the holiday season for gosh sakes, since when is it right for politicians to invade our holiday cheer and pit family members against each other during Christmas Vacation? All we hear and see in the news is politicians calling each other names, trying to divide each other's voter base and carry on like Third Graders.
In the recent uTube - CNN Presidential Candidate Debate in Florida, we noted that it was quite entertaining and yet, there were so many personal attacks that many felt all the candidates were not up for the job. Some of the top contenders were so busy attacking each other, it is hard to remember what they were saying about the issues.
Is this any way to run a Presidential Campaign to pick the best, most suited and strongest leader? If that is all it is about, why not just vote for a High School Cheerleader or the next winner on the Donald Trump "Apprentice" TV Reality Series. Apparently, the last man standing will get the nomination. Perhaps these are the leaders we deserve, but surely we can do better than this?
