Senator John Mccain

Presidential contender Mitt Romney is harmonizing his presidential campaign's labors to win the polls. This comes after Senator McCain and Mayor Rudy Giuliani formerly announced their resolution of not participate. It should be noted that Senator Fred Thompson will not be able to participate for he did not yet start his campaign.

While Giuliani, Thompson, and McCain are not participating, Romney, as the major contender taking part in the Ames, was expected to win. However, there were some rumors that Sam Brownback could do extremely well in Ames.

Brownback focused his campaign almost entirely on Iowa thus far. He is from Kansas, and he is well acquainted with many agricultural issues. His social conservatism was attractive to many Ames members. In other words, there could be weight to this rumor.

Brownback had little or no chance of winning this nomination but his vision on social issues can be highly admired. He could appear on the short list of any ultimate contender for the vice presidential designation.

It should not be said that he is the only possible running companion worth considering. Even if Brownback does not become successful or even seriously considered, one can assume that Brownback is one of the most worthy associates of the U.S. Senate today.

His choices to boldly announce his pro-life vision on abortion, and other social matters as an element of his campaign shows a serious dedication to those issues instead of the superficial one that other candidates apparently have.

In other words, the Ames results are the indications of how well Brownback can do as compared to other candidates
