Republican Or Democrat

Of course the former NY mayor and almost self titled "Mr. 9-11". Is very socially liberal i.e. pro choice, pro same sex marriage and pro gun control but is very tough on crime and talks tough on US war issues. In his favor he hasn't deviated from his social liberal agenda although rarely mentions it. He is hated by the hardcore conservative element for his multiple wives and adultery as much as his position on abortion.

However this hardcore voter group is smaller than you think and will not vote at all or vote for a 3rd party candidate if one presents. He has somehow received Pat Robertson, who now is the most well known spokesperson for the evangelical base primarily because he acknowledges the the threat of Islam as a greater threat to Christianity than abortion or homosexuality and sees Giuliani as someone who is electable. However while a lot smarter than Bush, he like Bush before he was elected has little International diplomacy experience (never having been elected to Washington or even State governments...briefly was in 2000 senate race vs. Hillary but had to pull out because of health and stayed on as mayor of NY) and is very hawkish bound to offend foreign countries and is known often to run his administration in a mafia family environment.

Is the definite favorite and is a candidate that both many moderate democrats and left leaning independents mind least because of his social positions and the candidate the Democrat cadidates fear the most because he could steal these votes from them.
