Now then lets discuss; E-Voting, Voter Apathy, Presidential Elections and the eCitizen of the Future. Yes you are now a number or a special complicated, not simple, secret pass word into the system; you are an eCitizen, and yes you are still only a number, albeit encrypted password number. No need to worry about getting people to the poles if you are running for office or your PAC wants to Turn Out The Vote, no sir.
Social Networks and Flash Mobs will ring the IM system on their iPhones and they can vote from their or their wrist-watch Bill Gates customer Internet Watch, which has VoIP and can work thru any WiFi or WiMax System. Sure right now that World may have a little bit of a Digital Divides, as in the present period it does still partially exist, but not for long says the Futurists of the Online Think Tank.
Is e-Voting System of the Future going to be fair for the eCitizen? Right now some people do not have a car to drive to the polls, is that fair? In the future they probably will not have a Net-Centric Car with the Onstar system to vote on their way to work, but that is okay they do not have a job to go to work anyway?
Some say that the Homeless will not be able to vote? Maybe they can go to the local library and get online. What about Online Voter Fraud? Voter Fraud you ask? What about illegal aliens and dead people voting now? What about Foreign Influence in our elections?
Campaign Ads on cell phones day of? Well the FTC is trying to save you from those junk mail spams, VoIP threats, Do Not Call My Cellphone Lists? Looks like we have that already? Getting around that by a viral campaign marketing effort might be a slim to none chance and the Flash Mob Mentality of social networking thru mobile communication devices is here to stay?
