Perhaps you are not aware of this fact. Years ago a couple of Senators, retired after serving some 25 plus years each and moved into the North East and they decided to start a business with their savings and live the good life and enjoy the American Dream that they themselves often congratulated each other in creating. The were very famous Democrats and you will recognize their names. To make a long story short their business failed and it failed miserably, even with all their pull in government to make things easier.
But why, how can this be, this is the land of opportunity
Yes were completely befuddled and they later admitted that they never realized how tough it was on small business with all the onerous rules and regulations at every level. They considered themselves smart, worldly, wise and they certainly knew all about how to get things done right? Sure they did, as long as they were spending our money that is. Money they did not have to pay back. When it came to running a business, fiscal responsibility was real, not some game.
Look, the reality is that 10% of the people in our nation run a small business and those 10% employ 78% of the population. When we make too many "politically correct rules" they cannot survive and thrive. When they are hurt, we all suffer. There is nothing wrong with free-enterprise or making a profit. Capitalism made this country great and if a Candidate will not stand up for the rights of small business people and understand, show them the door. Trust me on this.
