Our Presidential Candidates decided not to do a debate due to the Hollywood Writer's strike, which is absolutely ridiculous say some Americans. Why? Well, because supposedly the debates are to be off the cuff and the candidates are not memorizing lines anyway - or are they? That is a scary thought to think that all those jokes they tell are someone just lines that crafty Hollywood Writers wrote of them to look good.
The GOP had their Presidential Debates anyway and they went off without a hitch, none of them looked as if they were reading or memorizing their lines in anyway. Perhaps the Democrats like Congress wished to take time off for the Holidays and forgo their responsibility to tell the US citizenry where they stand on issues. Then they could have put a good word in for the Hollywood Writers and done them much more good that way.
But when it comes to Organized Labor, the Democrat side of the fence does not have a perfect record. For instance in Iran, striking workers were beaten, jailed and forced to comply - during that week Barracka Obama said he felt that we should open negotiations with the Iranian President, as equals with absolutely no pre-determined ground rules or conditions.
Also, we all know that the illegal immigration problems are causing high-paying jobs in our Nation to disappear, but every time a democrat candidate gets up top the podium they wish to give them more free services. So, the record for Democrat Candidates on organized labor is very spotty. I believe they are supporting the writers because if they don't the Hollywood Writers will stop writing embellished articles about them.
